Best diner in the city. Had the two eggs breakfast and a pancake. The bacon was no joke. Quick service.

Great grill food. We had the Patty melt on sour dough and fries. Portions are large, and the food was very tasty and fresh made. We had it as take out, and they did a great job of predicting when nit would be ready and having packaging that did a good job of maintaining the food quality.

Located in the heart of North Beach on Grant street you will find MO's Grill. Their menu is fantastic and the service is friendly and attentive. We showed up just in time to catch the end of brunch. The rotating grill is so awesome to watch... especially if you appreciate grilled items. The rest of the diner has Three Stooges Motive!!! It just adds to the friendly atmosphere. Cheers- we will be back.

We stopped in for a salad lunch to share. BFF lives in the hood and they've eaten here or take out often. We shared the "a very good salad" with fresh romaine lettuce, apple, blue cheese, cucumber and we added grilled chicken. Everything was good and the dressing was tasty too. Staff was nice. I'm not a fan of most hamburgers but theirs looked good as I watched other customers eat.

It's probably been over 30 years since I've set foot in here. It was my 1st time dining here. My office used to be about five blocks away and I remember picking up food with my coworker to bring back. My uncle who works in the neighborhood mentioned that this was a regular lunch spot for him pre-2020. I came here for lunch on a Wednesday in April a little before noon. Dining alone, I chose a counter seat as my waitress offered me the menu and a glass of water. The dining room was 2/3rd full with varying party sizes in the center area. The menu is more extensive than I remember with breakfast items, full meals, and daily specials. I tried the Alpine burger, medium rare, with a cup of clam chowder (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=1jx_vR_fxszRItRl-OWTLg&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), for an additional $4.50; the Alpine is described as garnished with Swiss Gruyere cheese & truffle oil sauteed mushrooms. chowder (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=L9-WED-J_hrHTA8_GrwwCw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). burger was a perfect medium rare (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=LeU5Xkt9foBTbTo022Z_Ug&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). At my waitress ' advice and her reminder that it's a half pound burger, I chose to pass on getting a side of fries. Wanting to clean my palate, I added an iced tea (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=Vhdtvwjv4tOhTD6dM4WY6w&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), unsweetened, which she refilled a couple of times. As I ate, I looked around the room, from the open kitchen at the window to the variety of decorations, photos, and artwork. In sitting at my counter seat, I found it humorously ironic in looking at my surroundings. To my right was a cow 'mooning me' (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=PGDt9IBjmKdxiw-A43G0jA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), to my left a pic of the 3 Stooges above the entrance (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=TnxMVoyKSQEmkmISMxmypQ&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) (the restaurant name is "Mo's" after all), and two cookie jars of a cow and the 3 stooges in front of me (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=No3H84h4bnB_fXtafxGulw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). Big thanks to Barbara who took my order and guided me in ordering my meal. I was happy to have the right amount of food and not taking anything home. I need to read the menu more carefully for my next visit in maybe trying one of their meal specials.

Walking around North Beach and decided to try Mo's, knowing it's been around for quite sometime. We were curious about this "no frills" diner. We entered around 5pm. There were at least 5 other tables during this off hour, which is a good sign. We both decided to get what they're known for, BURGERS! Each 1/2 lb patty is grilled over volcanic rock. When you enter, you can see the guy in the center cooking burgers! FRENCH BURGER ~ Best burger stuffed with imported goat cheese topped with caramelized onions on a crusty bun. I wanted medium rare which when I got it, it was a bit more rare than expected, but it was still good. I didn't get sick, so it's all good! But if you're not used to a red middle, I'd go with a medium doneness. The cheese was really rich and tasty! And I also got french fries on the side. (You get a choice of french fries, cup of chili, side salad, cole slaw or a cup of soup.) 5/5 PATTY MELT ~ Burger and 2 pieces of American cheese topped with caramelized onions on sourdough bread. This burger was perfectly medium rare, but the patty was only in the middle and would fit buns rather than two pieces of sliced bread. Basically, you don't get meat on the left or right side. I think if these patties are made to order, it should fit the bread? It just isn't as good if you get bites of onions and bread without meat. If you like meat and bread together, order a hamburger instead and skip the patty melt. The chili was good and a bit more spicy than expected. 3/5 It's about $20 for each burger with a side. That's an extra $4.50 for french fries, coke slaw, side salad, cup of chili or soup. Not bad considering your plate is really full and any hungry person would be satisfied at the end. We'd definitely come back when we're in the mood for a burger!
